Comments: My father recently passed away, rather suddenly.
He would have been 68 in June. He served in the
101st Airborne when he was just 16? or maybe 18--
1959 or 1960--61? His name was Donald Griffeth--
and he may have had a nickname "Griff." If
anyone remembers him, or served at that time,
could you contact me? I'm trying to get
information about his service. He didn't tell his
family too much--just that he jumped from
airplanes! He served during peace time I'm told.
I've read about the 82nd who was to be ready in
case of a ground assault by Russia--I believe my
father was just "in training" possibly in that
division? I appreciate any information
anyone may have. Thanks!

Comments: I was born with spinal birth defects I was born 1970 I have yet to receive any of my fathers benefits I have been fighting since January when I had a thoracic scan I have an extra lumbar vertebra, protruding disks all the way down deformed spinal cord, Pionidal cyst on tail bone with cord intact in it. blocked fluid from L4 L5 down to cyst. in the thoracic region I have two disks fused with no surgery they were fused at birth no disk I was born that way. Three additional disks just blew. a large hematoma on T12 spinal cord deformed at T3T4 L4 L5 blew displacing my sciatic nerve with right leg nerve damage. and it gets better my uterus was attached to my spine my intestines were attached to my uterus. I was never able to work hard labor in my life disabled fully at age 30 by social security and still no help from my government. I need any evidence that agent orange was in fact used during this time frame. from 1950 through 1968 My father served 22 years and this is how they take care of the children effected I need help to fight this thing I have been doing it on my own. I did request the military to do a spinal fluid test to confirm it and it will. but they never will do a physical. I cant believe they go to the extreme they do to hide these cases mine should be an open and shut case your spine is formed at birth. not unless I just grew and extra vertebra . I will loose the use of my legs I have digestive issues as well due to nerve damage. I do not know what to do. I am appealing they denied me if you have any photos that show the vegetation destroyed during the Korean war please send me copies to my email thank you so much or if you know someone who can help me fight let me know. This is so Wrong of them to make me live on 745.00 a month in social security when my father served in three wars got the purple heart and good conduct medal in Korea only seven of them given and his child suffers like this with over 22 years in military service. I cant even fathom what our government is thinking delaying my case even a day let alone this long I am 40 I should have been set up with benefits when I was 15 and my cyst was treated in Blydville Arkansas the doctors told my father what this was due to he cried on the way home that day I remember it well. why ? was I overlooked why wont they treat me with a specialist that knows about this problem and pay my medical bills why? do I live off of so little money each month I deserve to be treated better I will be treated better I was even told " you know they will deny you till you die" that is sad when the same people you call for help tell you to give up. I need a lawyer someone please tell me what to do? I have submitted all my medical records to verify all these facts and still no help.
