Comments: I wanted to let any friends of Leonard A. "Jack" Reuter of Dubuque, Iowa present know of his recent passing. Jack suddenly passed away last Wednesday, December 14, 2005. He would have been 74 on the 22nd of this month. Jack served in Korea from 1953-1955 in the Army.

Following the war he farmed for the rest of his life, taking over his parents farm. After his father died in 1963 he took care of his mother until her death in 1977. He was a member of St. Joseph's church in Key West.

He is survived by his sister, Lois Green (my grandmother), and his brothers Ken, Clem, and Jim - all of Dubuque. He was preceeded in death by his parents, his brother Harlan - who is MIA from Korea, his sister in law Darlene, and his nephew Eugene.

Jack has been buried in the St. Joseph's mausoleum at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Key West - near the land he farmed for so many years.

I am looking for anyone who has information on Frederick Charles Johnson (Freddie)...I am his daughter in law...He died in 1964, when my husband was only 4, and I would love to find someone who knew him, mike never got to hear the war stories from his dad.

Freddie served in Panmunjom from 1958-1960. I have several pictures of him in front of a sign that reads Hell on Hooks. Also some pictures in Barracks and with Korean children.

I believe he was a line man back then. When he returned home, he continued doing the line work and was killed in the line of work, in Maryland.

I was also curious to know if he could receive a replacement burial flag. Some years ago during a move, his family lost the original one, and he is still very upset about that.

Thank You,
Christine Johnson

Comments: Hello All,

I am looking for any information on Frederick Charles Johnson, he served in Korea
from 1958-1960. When he came home he married and had a son, Michael...I am Mike's
wife.

Frederick(Freddie?) died when Michael was only 4. He was a linemen in MD and perished
at work.

Through the years he has always wanted to know more about his dad, and I am hoping
that maybe someone out there remembers him, I know Mike would love to hear about what
his father did over there. He never got to hear the old war stories from Dad himself.

When Mike's dad died, they were given a flag at his burial in a national cemetary in
Maryland...that flag was lost in a move some years back, and I also wanted to know if
anyone knew how I could get a replacement for him.

Thank you so much!

Comments: Hello my grandfather was a korean vet. and he is having some trouble with i believe is his insurance or something to do with the hospital. they are coming up with no records of him being in the war. They say if he can find someone that remebers him and can sign something to show that he can get what he needs. This is just a long shot and thought i would try it for him. this was his information
