Comments: My Dad just passed and we are desperately trying to find anyone who may have served with him. All of his military records were washed away in a hurricane flood many years ago. What we do know is that he graduated Reagan High School in 1950 and enlisted with some buddies probably in 1950 or 1951. We do know he was stationed in Germany and got married there to his first wife.

Comments: My father was a military policeman stationed at Ft. Sheridan, IL in 1952. He & 3 other military policemen lived off-base in a rented place & shared the use of a green Chevy car. He dated my mother, telling her his name was George Taylor; which I believe turned out to be the name of one of his other roommates. Shortly after my mother told him she was pregnant, he was being shipped off to Korea. On one date with my mother, he played 'chicken' on Rand Road in Arlington Heights with an on-coming car that turned out to be a police car. He was arrested in my grandparents driveway. He was approximately 2 years younger than my mother (or so he told her) so he would have been born in or about 1930 or 1931. I don't know if he is still or if I have any half-siblings, but I would like nothing more than to have a picture or two of my birth-father. A possible connection with him or other family would be really nice, but if not, I understand. Please contact me if you have REAL info on him. I don't have anything else to go on. Thank you.

Comments: My late father Bobby Jean Harstin of North Carolina served in A BTRY 69AAA BN at Fort Tilden 1953 to 1955. I'm looking for any veterans who served with him at that time. On the backs of photographs, he wrote down some names:
Pvt. Joseph Mosely, Ala.
Pvt. Kenneth Horton, Tenn.
Another friend was named Ashely. He was from Alabama, and his wife and children were with him at Ft. Tilden. Unfortunately, photo captions, my father's didn't write Ashley's his last name.
