Comments: I arrived in Pusan Korea early in 1050 when the Korean Police Action occurred to open the port for fighting forces to arrive in Korea as this was the only way to land the troops from all nations.
Keywords: Friend, Morris Tantum killed in early 1950 of the Korean conflict. His home was in Greenville, Texas. Many in the wounded were wounded. No hospital and only the club cars at train station in Pusan.. The club cars were filthy. The Hope and the Repose came after 2 or 4 months later as they were in moth balls and had to be commissioned from the 2nd world war.
Victor Matherly home was in the state of Virginia and was a POW in 1950. After he was repatriated from one of the POW camps in North Korea he married his girl friend and lived min Long Island New York. He later died about 22 t=years ago..

Comments: Joseph Lebow was H Company First SGT. and was KIA August 1952 (Bloody Ridge.) Joseph said he had a son in a Port Company in Korea at the same time and I have some pictures of Joseph which his son or other family members might like to have. I'm not sure if this is the unit his son was serving in or not. Any leads would be appreciated.
