Comments: Still seeking old buddies from the 540th TT Co. Found a few and now some of those are gone. Know there has to be many still around but where are they? Like to find any that were there when I was..The 540th was near Inchon when I arrived..A few months later we moved back to Chunchon..In Nov 54 the entire company and the 55th Trans.Bn moved to Camp Drake, Japan and not long afterwards I finally went home.

Cpl Marshall was (WIA) I do not know all the details,but he get so motional I need your help. Information on this unit we no that all information on black units was not keep (record's) on files. I no that my brother should have been receiving compensation also he should have receive the Purple Heart.Your help in this matter would help a fellow soldier. thanks

Comments: My father was stationed at a truck unit that was in or near Inchon in 1953. His name was Cpl.William "Bill" S. Smith. USA. He did not talk that much about the war. He passed away in March of 1999. I was going thru some old photos. The only I.D. that I can get is bumper numbers from a truck in the background:
KC2 - 46T-54 The camera cut off the rest. If any one out there has any info, please let me know. He has two grandsons that I want them to remember grand pa.

Comments: I was in Chun Chon Korea from July 1951 through July 1952. I don't recall knowing you but I would like to hear from you. When I was stationed there I was the only Mexican American with a all black troop.
