Comments: The 107th was one of the first units activated Aug 19th 1951 immediately shipped to Ft. Bliss Tx to be prepared for duty in Korea, We were the second guard unit to land in Pusan and were to find and join the 52nd truck Bn whose position was unknown,Some 8days later we found the 52nd and went to work Later shifted to 55th Truck Bn and remained with them on into 1952, The 107 was the outstanding unit in the 55 Bn. I have a copy of the 1st Command Unit report if anyone wants exact figures,

I believed he was in the 105 Division and I do know he was a mechanic and also he was in recon on occassions,,,I do have his dog tag numbers but I dont know if ya can use the numbers off them to find his unit.. He did have some friends and couple of names was a guy named Olsen and also a guy named Clarence Groth.. Dad went to boot camp at Wisconsin near Wisconsin Dells in 1950 at Camp McCoy..... He was from Michigan.. any help be very much appreciate.. thank you, His son Ed
