Comments: I was with the 74th.Light Truck co.At Uijonbu Korea from the fall
of 1954 to March 1955. I led truck convoys all over the mountains
in Korea. I had also been with the 504th Light.Truck co.as a cpl.I
was there for about seven months and then sent to the 726th.Light
truck company at Kimpo,But was there less than a month, because they
did not have enough men to run the company and the Colors were sent
home.I was then sent to the 74th to take over as an assistant
section leader. When I got there I was told that the section leader
was being sent home on a Section 8. Alchohalism.I was then made the
section leader. I was in Korea a few days short of Fifteen months.I
thought the Army had lost me.I went home in March 1955.I remember
Thomas Nienow from Wisconsin. I would do it all again.,

Comments: Looking for father- I was born on 6-5-60 in Inchon Korea- he was a soldier who I have been told knew of me and wanted to send for myself and mother when he returned to US He was in the 516 camp and my mother married another soldier and came to US about 5-6 years later. I also was told he got in some trouble about a Jeep----anyone remember such stories? Also, my uncle Young man Choe was his good friend and called him fella----are you out there?
