Comments: Arlie Pate was with the 7th Division and was captured at the Chosin in 1950. After the war ended he, along with twenty some other Americans, stayed in China. In 1956 he returned home to Carbondale Il. Is Arlie still living? I have just finished a book on the Chosin and interviewed several families who have missing in action members from that particular battle. I would like to contact Arlie to see what he remembers. Also would like to talk to anyone who served with him.

Comments: To any vets reading the revisit offer after Jan. 28, please note that we've had an overwhelming response to return to S. Korea. As much as we like to take everyone, there's a limited budget and the first ten who have responded are on the waiting list to go. I remind others of the ceremony at the Korean War Memorial on July 26/27 celebrating the truce. If you can make it there, we'd be glad to interview you on-site and perhaps include you in the program. Good luck to all of you.

Any one that thinks that they know him, I would
love to put you in touch with each other.

On April 1 early in the morning,my father passed
away. However, today I have every piece of paper
he had relating to his service as a Navy Reserve
and in the Army. I hope that I am providing some
of the information you could use.

On his seperation papers it says place of
seperation Fort Leonard wood Misouri.

He was Cpl Norbert M. Spellich 7th US Infantry in
Korea.

Some of the people in with him are pfc Wilford W.
Baker pfc Darwood Giddings cpl GEorge Wessendorf

The fouth of July was his favorite holiday, so
this year on that day we plan to have a service
and bury his ashes. He was also the commander of
