Comments: Re: Hamung evac. I was the "last to leave"and had a few pictures in all the newspaper . I appeared with my platoon ...A picture of me with about 5 or 6 of the backs of my men starting to march down a hill to the LCT [landing craft troop.
This was 24Dec Korean time 25Dec USA....I had and lost picture appeared in NY Paper on the 25 Dec caption from left over the top of picture "the last to leave"!!
I will gladly pay for time spent on locating. I am 94 years old and would like to give to my Grand kids

Comments: Looking for any information regards Lt Col Charles Fagan...he was married to my 2nd cousin Eileen. Served with the 3rd Infantry Division in WWII...Silver Star, Italy, April 1944 and Bronze Star, France, September 1945. Also awarded Legion of Merit which I'm presuming was awarded in Korean War. I know he and his wife are buried in Arizona NC. Unfortunately one of his sons Ronald Fagan USAF crashed in a C-130 Hercules and all 8 crew killed in Little Rock Arkansas....September 8th 1978...Ronald is buried in Arlington NC VA.
Charles was born 1925, Bronx, New York as was Eileen his wife who lived to be 92 years. RIP ALL the Brave Fallen.

Comments: Hoping to locate Capt. Bruce S. Coleman (Infantry) who served in Korea (1951) and knew my father, 1st Lt. Edward Robertson, Jr. Both men worked together at Camp Roberts in California and were sent to Korea around the same time.
My father was killed on October 3, 1951 while fight on/near Hill 487 in Chorwon area of Korea.

My dad is now telling me stories of the crazy irish men he was drafted with from the old Engle Tavern here in Cleveland. But thats all im allowed to know.
