Comments: Looking for information on Jerry Paul Foster. He was in the Army in Korea for 2 years in the 25th Infantry. He would have left there in 1954.

He never spoke about his service and suffered from PTSD throughout his life. Only once did I hear him talk about caves, cold, and frostbite. Our family knows virtually nothing about this period in his life

Comments: I am looking for information about my father's Korean War military service. I believe he was in the 25th infantry, but it could have been 24th. His name is Donald Albert Adams. I would be very grateful for any information.

Keywords: The only two stories I know are general ones. I believe he was involved in a frozen river valley and he spoke of concerns of massive numbers of Chinese Soldiers engaging, or potentially engaging in battle(s).

Comments: I have the family member's service record, but it is incomplete. CSM Ernesto Collazo (Retired) (deceased 2007). There is no documentation of the unit he was with during the Korean War. I do have several photos with names on them. One photo shows the Unit shoulder patch. I have been told it is that of the 25th Infantry Division. But, I'm not sure. Is there a place where I may share the photos in hopes of finding someone who served with this Korean War Vet.

I am currently researching my great uncle, Warner Young, who

served with the 25th Infantry Division during Korea. He was

wounded on July 20, 1950, while serving with the artillery, and

was returned to his unit. He enlisted in 1942, but I don't know

anything about his WWII service. Could someone help? He was born

in MN in 1911, and his serial number was 39393167.

to join him on Okanawia when the war started. July 50
was when we were to join him. He was a combat vet of
WWll 17th Amored Inf and a survivor of that unit. I
know finally it was tough battle in Herlisheim, but
Korea really affected him. I served 22 years AF and
Army and thankfully I did not endure what he did. He
is gone, it took years for us to get to know each
other, after I had been Army and became a E5 Sgt we
started to bond. He is gone, but I miss him
greatly. Anybody know him/ I have a picture of him
in Korea with a Korean boy, and was so angry about
that kid being with my dad. I think he was a
surrogate for me. Anyway to you all you did good and
Korean vets aren't forgotten by me.

Comments: Looking for historical info this fellow. Walter c. Davidson served as a glider pilot in WWII, as well as serving in the 1st Troop carrier command (all in the same?). I have his wings, dogtags, watch, collar insignia ect... His service # was 7013087. Additionally, he served in the 25th div. of the 65 inf. reg. after being injured and taken off pilot status in Korea and that's why I'm here. I was told this was comprised mainly of Puerto Ricans yet I find references here to Hawaii. Anyone remember this fellow? Or have any info via his service #? I've sent to Ohio records concerning this but it never hurts to ask around. I'm curious what in the world he could have done in an engineers outfit....

regards, mitch

Comments: My Grandfather is Sergeant First Class David Wayne Clark. He has told me the story of his radio operator known as Fakundis (I don't know if the spelling is correct) who was from San Diego. Fakundis was killed while he, and my grandpa, lobbed two grenades into a machine gun emplacement. Baker Company was on its way to help the Marines trapped at the Choson Reservoir in February of 1951. Any information about either of them is greatly appreciated. I can't find any information about Fakundis, which makes me think that the name is not correct. My grandpa is still alive in Las Vegas, NV.
