Comments: Looking for historical info this fellow. Walter c. Davidson served as a glider pilot in WWII, as well as serving in the 1st Troop carrier command (all in the same?). I have his wings, dogtags, watch, collar insignia ect... His service # was 7013087. Additionally, he served in the 25th div. of the 65 inf. reg. after being injured and taken off pilot status in Korea and that's why I'm here. I was told this was comprised mainly of Puerto Ricans yet I find references here to Hawaii. Anyone remember this fellow? Or have any info via his service #? I've sent to Ohio records concerning this but it never hurts to ask around. I'm curious what in the world he could have done in an engineers outfit....

Fakundis was killed while he, and my grandpa, lobbed two grenades into a machine gun emplacement. Baker Company was on its way to help the Marines trapped at the Choson Reservoir in February of 1951. Any information about either of them is greatly appreciated. I can't find any information about Fakundis, which makes me think that the name is not correct. Comments: Hi. I'm looking for friends of my Father, Sergeant Gordon Davis, who served in Occupied Japan in the late 1940's and early 1950's. He was from Reisterstown, Maryland and had served in the 101st Airborne Division after WWII. I'm certain he was in charge of Japanese Craftsmen who maintained public buildings in Osaka, Japan. In Japan, he was a member of the 25th Infantry Division and then the Japan Logistical Command before being sent home as a casualty (before the official outbreak of the Korean War? -- He never talked about that much...). He was tall and rather skinny; coached a Japanese girl's ball team (as a Corporal); and the only pictures I can find of him in uniform indicated he made Sergeant (non-combatant little gold-on-blue three stripes with a rocker, while wearing the JLC DUI) and he usually wore a garrison hat rather than the overseas caps of others in the pictures.

Between the dates of sept. 1951 and may of 1952 He remembers a Lt. Graham was there and a jeep driver and a radio operator besides himself Lt. Graham and himself were forward observers,I really believe it would help his anxiety about the war if he could find any one who was there with him. It may help if you knew a little about eddie he's from new york and is Italian, he has a very good since of humor He just needs to talk too some one who has been thru the same things he's been thru. please e-mail with any information you may have that would help my eddie close this chapter of his life. I'm very proud of him for what he did for his country. and for the rest of the men and woman who served in not only the korean war, the war from what I see on the internet is begining too be the remembering war instead of the forgoten war, but all the other wars before and after. Comments: I am looking for anyone who served with my Uncle, Heejun Kim in 25th Inf. Div from 1951 to 1953 or has any information about the organization of 25th Inf. Div during Korea War. My uncle, my father in law¡¯s elder brother, was a Korean citizen but he served in 25th Infantry division of US 8th army. (I am not sure he was KATUSA or belongs to other organizations). Anyway he became MIA during the war and My father in law family want to know whether he is alive or dead, if he was fallen, where , when and how he died. An evidence to prove that he served in 25th Inf. Div. is a photograph where he wear US military uniform with 25th infantary logo. Another convince about his army service in US troops is my father¡¯ in law¡¯s memory.
My father in law remember that he went his brother¡¯s brigade located at Chunryangrhee, East of Seoul, and met him. At that time he said to his younger brother that he will move to another place soon and said to hello other family members. My father in law recalled there are lots of trucks and many Turkish troops instead of white man. I guess my uncle was assigned in UNC brigade which is under controlled by 25th Div. Commander.
My father-in law also heard it from someone that he was wounded at the battle near Wonju in March 1953. He was sent to MASH at south Seoul but he never recovered and finally fallen at MASH bed. However it is not clear that the story is true or not.
He eagerly would like to hear any things about his elder brother before dying.
If you have any information, please e-mail me at yhkim@nanoditech.com.
