Two Soldiers
Two Cultures
Their Histories
entertwined.

Attached is a flyer on the book jointly authored
by myself, Wilson Powell, and Zhou Ming-fu,
entitled "Rwo Walk the GOlden Road" It is
presently available at all major bookstores as
well as Amazon.com.

"Two Walk the Golden Road" has been in the making
since 1985, when Chinese Korean War veteran Zhou
Ming-fu and I sat down to write the story of Ming-
fu's life in China and Korea. My story was written
later; thus combining two very different cultures
in a weave covering the same periods of history.
Our stories emphasize our common humanity, making
the idea of combat between us -- or people like us
-- unthinkable. It was not always so -- therefore,
this is a work of conscience as well as a
recounting of interesting lives that happened to
ordinary people.

The story doesn't end with this book, however.
Another Korean War vet, Charlie Atkins, and I are
visiting my friend, Ming-fu, in China this coming
September. Then we are revisiting the sites of our
battles in Korea. We'll keep you posted.
