by Gordon Faust`

Gordon Faust has spent years researching the war
experiences of fellow Wisconsin veterans of the
Korean War. This book, part of that research
details and lists all of the Wisconsin KIA's,
MIA's and Non-Hostile deaths.

From the preface: "In the late 1950’s if you asked
the average person the significance of or what
transpired on December 7th, the vast majority of
answers would be the Japanese bombing of Pearl
Harbor in 1941 or “The day that would live in
infamy”. In the same time frame ask the
happenings of what occurred on June 25th or July
27th. If you were a student of history you might
recall that is was June 25, 1876 that George
Armstrong Custer and the 7th Calvary were defeated
at the Battle of the Little Big Horn, but beyond
that more than the majority would not be able to
answer that Junes 25, 1950 was the start of the
Korean “Police Action” and July 27, 1953 was the
signing of the armistice or cease fire agreement.

We commend Gordon for his diligence for this work
and for his years of service in the United States
Air Force and the Wisconsin Air National Guard.
