Alfred Smith McDonald

Presented to the KWP by Kathleen McDonald-
Shonaker daughter and Kevin McDonald, son.

Author Mcdonald succumbed to prostate cancer in
May of 2004 while the new book was in
production. He was a retired Buffalo Policeman.

He was a World War II Navy vet and Korean War
Vet. The book is about his experiences during
the war in Korea aboard the USS Silverstein, a
Destroyer Escort.
