career of the author’s father. One-third of the
story relates to the Korean Occupation and combat
service as a company commander in the 9th Infantry
Regiment of A Company in 1950 and of E Company in
early 1951. Includes detailed medical evacuations
and a unique bullet-riddled E Company roster with
89 names.
In addition to using KWP references, using the
Korean War Project Remembrance section, the author
assisted the family of Captain Charles Struthers
discover the circumstances of his loss,. Little
also traded references with KWP-listed author
Lawrence Bertrand (Dogging Their Steps) whose
brother fought on the same hill as Little’s
father.
