He was with Co F, 2nd Battalion.l, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division. Any information or guidance on where to find any available information. I too served (Navy) for 30 years and some of that was due to my Uncle though I never met him. I appreciate your assistance and thank you!

Comments: My father passed away several years ago. As he and mom divorced when I was young we were estranged for most of my life. I am beginning to put together a story of his time in the Marines. He was wounded in Vietnam in June of 1966 while serving with the 2nd battalion, 7th Marines, Fox company in Quang Ngai province. The record says June 30, 1966. So I'm wondering if there is anyone out there still around that might have served with him at the time of this WIA. He went by Gunny it sounds like, or Sgt James Martin, and served from 1947 to 1967. This is just a small tidbit of what I am starting to accumulate regarding his service.
Thank you in advance.

Comments: I was wondering if any Veterans remember my grandfather, Antal (Tony) Szabo, USMC. When he enlisted he was just a kid from Cleveland, Ohio...Buckeye Road Hungarian Neighborhood. He was in Easy and Fox Companies, 2nd Bn/7th Marines. He was wounded at Chosin, December 12, 1950. Grandpa didn't discuss Korea and I just assumed he never wanted to talk about it. He was very proud of his time as a US Marine. My grandpa passed away April 20, 2010. I miss him very much and would love if anyone had any information about him during his time in Korea.
