Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew Marine Cpl
Warren A. Lundberg who was in E Co. 2nd
Bat. 7th Reg. and who went by the name
"Louie". He was reported MIA in Oct. or Nov.
1950 and later reported KIA on 11-28-1950. I
think he was a machine gunner. He was my
best friend through Jr. High and Marine
Reserves when we were called up in August
1950. I lost track of him during training at
Camp Pendleton when we were split up and
he shipped overseas.

Comments: I am looking for anyone who knew Sgt.Kenneth Kipp of Fox Co 2nd Bn 7th Marines 1st Marine Division. Sgt. Kipp was killed in action on 6 Dec.1950 somewhere on the road from Hagaru to Koto Ri.

Sgt.Kipp was my mother's first husband and she still misses him very much. Every memorial day I take her to his grave to honor his memory and her pain over his death is still very evident.

I am familiar with some of the events reguarding his time in korea but not to many particulars. I do know that he was awarded the Silver Star and that he was a squad leader in F/2/7. Even though I am not related to Sgt. Kipp, as a child, I grew up with his memory.

Thank you

He was a BAR man when he was hit by shrapnel in the arm and leg. After many months in a hospital in Japan, he returned home and on ship met up with others from Easy Company. He mentions Sutton, Simmons, and Bob Ogden. John would like to know what hill he was on when he was wounded, he believes it to be 749 but is not sure. He was wounded around the midnight hour and the rest is a blur. If any of his buddies are out there and can remember John I would like you to contact me. John has been trying to write down his experiences and knows little or nothing about the buddies he left behind when he was wounded.
