Comments: My father, Timothy Donovan also, passed away 18 years ago. Though he was a Korean War Vet. (Sergeant), he rarely spoke of the conflict with family. What little I did overhear indicated that he was with a combat unit which saw action. Years ago, I've heard from former comrades he was highly respected as a soldier's solder. I recognize. the 3rd Infantry Div. patch as something he kept along with some medals. He was Irish born and sent to K. w/I 1-2 years of immigration to NYC. I wonder if anyone remembers him from the war?

Comments: AN INTERESTING SITE. I TRAVELED TO SOUTH KOREA TWO YEARS AGO. I MISSED GETTING TO THE DMZ BECAUSE OF AN INCIDENT THAT HAD JUST OCCURED. I SERVED WITH 3RD INF DIV IN KOREA 1950-1951.
