Sergeant Henry Ford?

Comments: Hi - I'm looking for a Sergeant Henry Ford who headed up the Repair and Utilities at Seoul City Command in 1952/53. He was from Florida, but settled in California for at least a few years in the 1960s. He was a good friend of my husband's grandpa, and was there when my husband's grandpa adopted a little boy, Christmas of 52. I'm writing a book about the story and would very much like to speak with Mr. Ford if possible, or at the very least so find a photograph of him. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

K52 Airstrip Yanggu N. Korea

Comments: Our unit built a airstrip near Yanggu N. Korea with a lot of eqwipment not issued to a lt.eqmt co. If it wasn't tide doun we barrow'd it. The air strip was 5000 ft long and 200 ft wide. Rice paddies filled in. a smsll hill removed and a lot of sweat finished in 8 months. I think our unit earned the right to be listed here.

Comments: Im seeking any information on a then , newly integrated engineer battalion that my dad was assigned to in Korea from 51-52. From what I understand 73rd Eng "construction" BN was a corps level unit ( 10th corps). I dont know what company dad was in, but he was the RTO and he served under a Lt. Castanza (West Pointer). I understand that road maint was the primary task while he was there. Any information about this unit would be appreciated.
