Comments: Was stationed in Korea from April 1951 to November 1952. Was in the 2nd Engineering Construction Group stationed in Yongdongpo Korea. The 84th Battalinon was one of our construction battalions. I was a surveyor, one of a group of about 6, who spent most of our time camped out on the south rim of the Imjin River doing preliminary surveying for the design and construction of bridges across the Imjin. The 84th was stationed in the area also doing the construction work. My last project was doing the preliminary survey for the X-Ray bridge site. I still have a copy of the original contour map we made. This job was done in November 1952, just before my tour was over.

I spent considerable time around the 84th on the Imjin as a surveyor in the 2nd Engr. Group. The 84th was under this group. If anyone wants more info on what the 84th did you can contact me. I also have some photos of the area of bridge building.
