San Diego after VP-47 as a new Ensign-aviator in VP-48. I had great respect for Joe Geisler first taking my date to see him before proposing marriage. He call it right as Kathryn and I just celebrated our 56th Wedding
Anniversary.
To the Chiefs of VP-48 thanks a million for providing me with a plane unequaled in "UP" Status. Pappani(AD1), my crew captain did a great job leading the Crew 4 team in 55-56.
