Comments: I recently was given a 1955 M170 jeep and I am looking for the history on it, I went on-line and found out where to look on vehicle for numbers that would put me in the correct direction. Here is the info that I found. Front bumper, drivers side (HQ69)- front frame, drivers side (339)- bottom of engine in raised l3etters and numbers (SD 807895)- PAT. plate (MD-A 12264)-Hood# (2E4777)-and med. stickers on both back quarters. If anyone can help me with info on my jeep it would be a big help. THANKS Roger D.
