Comments: My father Jack Cavazzi was in the Korean War and stationed in Korea from Mar'53 -
Mar'54. I am creating a book of his letters home to my mother spanning Jun'52-
Mar'54 (beforeigoberserk.com) and trying to find out where his ammo unit was
located. According to the National Archives, his military record was destroyed in a
fire. I know that he was in a motor pool and that he drove trucks and operated a
crane. On his letters under the date he wrote, "Songwhan, Korea". However the only
Songhwan or Seonghwan I find on the map is in the southern part of the country and
he states that he was "as far north as you can get". Wondering if anyone remembers
him?

researching where he went on his journeys, and if
there may be anyone that also served in this unit.

Comments: My Great Uncle Arnie Wade was in the unit from 11/51-10/53. I never met him as he passed away before I was born. He was a PFC in the Korean War. His assignment was the 363rd Ordinance Ammo Co., based in Fort Sheridan, IL. Does anyone remember him from this unit? I know, fifty years ago, but maybe someone does!

Comments: I am a case manager for a gentleman who served in Korea with Army Ordinance. We are in the process of trying to obtain his DD214. He, unfortunately, cannot recollect the details of division, regiment, battalion, or company. He only knows that he was in Ammunition Ordinance in the 1950s. Does anyone know of a good starting point where I might research this information?
Thank you,
