Comments: Trying to locate Lt Juarez who I replaced in fall of 1953. Earlier notice said he was looking for info regarding unit after he left. In a nutshell,Sgts Soper, Fordham & Capt F F Federlin kept doing their things. .Lost 2 members in the frozen river including Pvt Credit while our CO was on R&R in Japan. With wind down of war were overwhelmed with unused ammo returned from front lines. Set up reclamation line to inspect, clean, repackage & return to stock all serviceable small arms ammo. Was replaced by Lt W Tillson ,& left Kwanda Ri in late April after finally replacing broken windshield in Jeep (which I inherited) after freezing my a** during the winter.

Comments: I'm looking for someone who might remember Bobby Hamilton from North Carolina who was in Korea. He's in need of his pension but the army says he never was in combat. His records burned up in the fire of 1976. If someone remembers him maybe he can prove he was in Korea. He says he was in the 8th Army 55th Battalion, 540 Company. He said he was in a trucking company and that he was ammo personnel. Let me know if you knew him.

If you know him, call: 704-619-2988
Or 704-360-2959

Comments: Comments: My father, Lt. Raymond P. Weddle was a member of the 619th
or 55th Ammo Ord in Korea and was killed there in 1952. I am trying to
learn the circumstances of his death. All I know is that his death was by
accidental gunshot by one of his fellow soldiers. He was a resident of
Bakersfield, CA. Even though killed in Korea, he is not shown in any NARA
Korean War casualty archives. He is not named in the Santa Nella, CA
Korean War Veterans Memorial. I would like to see his name memorialized
at Santa Nella. I also plan to visit Korea and would like to visit the site of
his death. Any information would be appreciated.
