Comments: Hey ! George Toots was leaving when I was arriving, George was headed Home to Miami Fla.
I believe, Why remember George ? Hell ! George was un forgettable...with a name like Toots ! ! ! The time frame was >very early Aug. 1953 . When I started my time in country

George got slicked-up, just about every night....before he went out on the Town to mingle
with the Local Population. Give a shout if you remember Brother TOOTS

Comments: I was stationed at K9 AFB on June16, 1952 when the US Army Ammo Dump exploded ,
I have several photos of that happening that I took from near our USAF unit on that
day.
I never found out if there were any fatalities involved, this event went on for several
hours before it finally stopped. I am curious to see if any one of you army vets recall
that day.
