Comments: I searched and found the name of Franklin Wakefield, a young man from my home town, KIA early in the Korean War, and although I eventually entered th Air Force and flew a Korean combat tour as a B-29 gunner, and had several friends lost, I've always remembered Franklin and what a very decent young man he was!! We are all diminished by his loss and my thoughts and prayers are still with him and his family!!!
