Comments: My father :
Sgt James S. Edwards served in the 452Bombardment wing, squadron 729under Brig. Gen. Sweetser, Col. Reaume and Mag. Robert Green ,
During 1959-1955 he served as Assistant Crew Chief,Crew Chief,Then Flight Engineer I found a letter from Brig. Gen. Sweetser that said he flew at least 85 consecutive missions without an aboard and 50 of them as combat missions as a flight engineer on B-26 aircraft This and a photo album is all I know of him and would love some stories or anything to go along with this. I've tried to re trace his military career and get the medals or bars to make a memorabilia box for my son whom is now serving our country, but have hit walls with every effort. Please is their anyone who served with him or can help me get a better picture of his life in the service.
Thank you Christine Edwards
