Comments: My dad, James Thibault, served at Clark during the Korean War. He was a staff sergeant and worked in maintenance. He was in the PACAF 13th Jungle Crew and trained at Lackland AFB.
All of dad’s photos and memorabilia burned in a tragic fire a few years ago. His military service records were completely destroyed in the 1974 fire in St. Louis. Ugh!
Dad will be turning 94 in October and I want to put together a shadow box of his service. I’m looking for anyone who may have known him or resources to find more photos!

Comments: My papa is a member of the Grim Reapers, and
flew/survived his missions in Korea. He is not
going to survive his current battle with bone
cancer. His name is Ralph M. Helm. I wish I had
asked more questions sooner, I'm not sure how much
of his photo book I can have him help me decipher
before he passes. You all did a good job for the
US and I respect you all.
Any info on my papa's service would be appreciated:
Postscript from Paula, April 18 2001
my papa died the last day of July, 2000, sort of peacefully, the cancer took away any feeling and personality a couple of days before he died. Ralph Marion Helm passed to his maker and he is sorely missed, almost a year from his death. He was proud to be a Grim Reaper, but he never told us of this until it was almost too late. Emails from anyone who knew him would be greatly appreciated.
