Comments: Greetings: What a great thing to see this web site. A lot of memories are coming back as I browse thru it. I was the coxswain on the starboard whaleboat and also ran the liberty party boats when we anchored out. Hong Kong with an LCM was a real trip. I must have run over a half dozen sampans. NO NOT REALLY. Hey! if Albert Clark is still alive I have (1) question, do you remember that 38 Dodge we bought in Long Beach and then drove back home on leave? We dropped off shipmates from Arizona to Miss. your home before me and Charlie Ebersole drove on up to WV. Would love to hear from anyone on board at that time.

One fact I'm sure of is that he was on board when Eisenhower came on board to sail on the ship briefly.
