Comments: I was wondering if I could get information on facts related to M.A.S.H. As a class project we read the book M*A*S*H* and I am doing a report on Real MASH units, and I would like to have true facts instead of the book. I would like to know what it was like and so on. Any information would be helpful.

Thank you so much

Comments: I am looking for medical personnel from the 8063rd who served during Nov-Dec 1951. My uncle, Sgt. Andrew K. Smelik, USA, was a member of the 27th Inf. Reg, B Company. We believe the company was near the town of Kumwha, North Korea during this time. My uncle was seriously wounded in action by an emeny missle attack. He was taken to the 8063rd and died there on 2 December 1951. His military/medical records were lost in the infamous fire at the NPRC in St. Louis so we don't have access to them. Our family very much wants any information about what happened to my uncle. Thanks for your help.
