We were moving the Main Line of Resistance back 1000 Yards.
We were on our way to the shower point and on arriving , we were getting of the truck and an expulsion occurred. come to fine out later after being in the Hospital in Osaka Japan fro a month. someone had place a sand bag full of gernades on the truck and had not re pressed the cotter pins on the gernades thus the expulsion.
well about 25 people were hit by fragments some bad other not so bad . I had wounds in legs and feet.
I'm looking for someone that may remember this happening?

As one of her only surviving family members I would like to memorialize her service to our country for the family and would appreciate any first hand recollections and or photographs that can be shared.

Comments: I live in an apartment complex where I have met a lovely woman who is a widow of a Korean War veteran. She has received a letter about a year ago promising her a monthly check to help support her since it was a war related disease/cancer that took his life. However, a full two years has passed and she has not received any money. What can she do to claim this. Are there people she can contact? Organizations? Etc. I am contacting you because she cannot even afford a telephone service. Please help us. Thankyou.
