Comments: Happy 250th year for the Army and thinking of my Dad on this Memorial Day Weekend. 05/25/2025 (Dad S. Charles Bershadsky, M.D. was the Chief Medical Officer of the 8063 M.A.S.H). The first in Korea on the 38th Parallel. He did 3 tours and his team were contributors to Burt Metcalfe and the M.A.S.H. TV production on contributing many of the story lines. (I have over 250 pictures and numerous 8mm films from '51 - '52.)

Comments: My father acquired a 1951 military JEEP and, in the process of restoring it, uncovered the MASH unit 8063 number on the bumper. After a complete renovation, he enjoyed driving it in parades and winning ribbons at car shows. It reminded him of an earlier model he had during his enlistment in the Navy. Dad died 5 years ago and we are now having to sell the JEEP.

Comments: My dad served in the 8063 MASH Unit from July 1951 - July 1952 as a Surgical tech. He was photographed in the Lifetime magazine in one of the surgical rooms with patients. He has a few pictures of his own that I could possibly share. He did know an Andy when he was at the MASH unit. He also worked with Capt. Carmela Hix who was a consultant for the MASH TV show. Korea. After my mom's passing, I found some photos
and a Thanksgiving Dinner brochure with the names of

He was wounded in Korea while fighting with the 7th Cavalry in February 1951, and according to a letter written to his parents, he was sent to the 8063rd MASH. Comments: When I was on the Punch Bowl I broke three ribs from Chinese artillary fire. I went to the MASH hospital at the bottom of the bowl, was x-rayed, taped and sent back to my unit. I have a chit book from the 8063 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital Officer's Club where I went before I had to return to my company. This occured during the early part of 1953. Please advise what I need to do to get a copy of my medical records ffrom the hospital. By the way. This hospital did a lot for the 5th RCT and I will alwaays appreciate it.
