Comments: I was a 91F (neuro-psychiatric specialist) stationed at 121 from November 1973 - December 1975. I worked in the old drug and alcohol detox unit that was located in the white cinder block building outside the ER entrance. Detox was moved into the main building with the psych ward in early 74. My wife and I were married at the chapel in Yongsan in October 1974. My son was born at the 121 in July 75. I'd love to hear from anyone who served there at the time. I have a few photos from the old detox unit and from the hospital.

I remember a guy from Boston, Charlie O'Brien, I think the CO's name was Captain Beaupertwi, I know I spelt this wrong. There was a popular Korean song at the time, The Boy in The Yellow Shirt, you would hear it played all the time. One of the Korean X-Ray Techs, translated it for me into english, still have that paper till this day, A guy I was with in the 125, John Martin, spent most of his 22 years between, Korea, Japan and Vietnam. We remained friends till his death in 2005, he found a copy of the record in a store in Columbia Mo. and sent it to me. All the years that have passed and I still have good memories of my time in the Land of the Morning Calm.

Comments: All,
I am the current Command Sergeant Major for the 121st Combat Support Hospital/Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital in Yongsan, Korea. It's a dual-mission hospital, performing Armistice healthcare daily and field training in case we go to war with North Korea. There is very little history available regarding our hospital. We do have some old pictures on our walls with small descriptions but I'm looking for anything else any of you may have regarding historical information, prior commanders, command sergeant's major, leadership, deployments, etc. Anything helps. I'm also hoping there are some old hospital items to be had that are squirreled away in a foot locker or closet. I would like to display old 121 Hospital items in a display case for our young Soldiers to see.
I appreciate all your help.
