His name was John "Jack" Maher, from Menlo Park, Ca. He did not talk of his experiences in Korea. Although now that he is gone I wished I would have questioned alittle. He was a very good man, and Father. I just want him remebered on the Memorial Day..to me he was/is a hero, just to have been there and to go thru what he and all the other heros went thru that day, and all the days they served there.God Bless the Corps...Semper Fi

Comments: My brother Eddie was killed in action on August 17,1950. I noticed on his headstone that he barly arrived in Korea before his was killed.
I was not even born yet when he died and I would like to know more about him. My father and his mother have both died and I can not get anymore info than what I have.
Anyone with more information on my brother would be greatly appreciated.
