I just heard about this site and although the message goes back to 2001, I thought I would respond as I was in the Eglin Boat Squadron in 1949 and I have a picture of one of the Boats Mr. Smith is looking for. Although he was talking about the year 1943 I believe it's the same Boat. Mr. Smith's E-mail address is no longer in use. If he will contact me, I will be happy to send him the picture. Al Augeri

I understand he took USS Antares AK258 that travelled to Europe, Asia, Africa, Middle East, South America and the whole of America.
I just would like to know what benefits are due him. He is past 65 now.
I hope somebody could help me with this.
I trully appreciate any response...
Thank you very much,

His separation papers were distroyed in a hurricane and his records at National Archives were distroyed in the fire during the 70's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
