Comments: My Dad 1Lt. Carl Erickson was stationed at Ashiya AFB Japan 6/1949-1/1951. He was a navigator with the 2nd ARS flight C. I have a picture of a SB 17 with those markings along with a few pictures of the area and Wosan Harbor N. Korean. I can find no official history of the squadron/flight being there. We they deployed there. He was moved to Yokota AFB in 51 and continued flying rescue mission in B29's I would like to find out what unit his was in while at Yokota.

Comments: Found a picture of my Dad, MSGT Dillard Kennedy aboard his plane flying out of Kadena AFB, Okinawa, dated June 1952. This was four years before I was born. I believe it's a B-29, but it's an interior shot so I'm not sure. Would love to get confirmation of what they were flying out there at that time.
