Comments: For years I have heard a story of a soldier being killed by a Sergeant at Fort Campbell in 1952. Has anyone else heard of this? I am working on a book. Thank you

Comments: Was inducted into the army in Wilkesbarre, Pa Feb 1952 Taken to Ft Meade for indoctrination then assigned to Fort Knox,Ky for basic Training and beginners Tank Training. This was during the Korean War- But instead of being sent to Korea - the first Cav was being decommisioned from Germany and sent back to the states. After Basic - I was shipped to Germany and went through Sandofen?, Augsburg, and finally Henry Kaserne, outer limits of Munchen. The old Walker Bulldog tanks were being decommisioned? and replaced with the new Patton M48 Tank. The second day there was sent to schol and then wound up being a M48 Teacher. School was moved to Bad Tolz - I went with it. In about a year the School was disbanded and I was sent back to Henry Kaserne - any body remember?
Thank You
