Comments: HELLO EVERYONE! MY Grandfather was in the korean war and is
still alive; he was as I recall a military police officer and
more.

His name is Rolland Joseph Paulin. I was wondering if anyone
here knows
or remembers him?

I'd like to know some stories and things about him during that
period of time.

I could ask him but I would like to tell him information i found
on my own and also let him know he is remembered!

if anyone can write back to me

Thank you!!

Comments: I arrived late '54 and was surprised at the desolation of the area. I cannot remember any names as we left to return CONUS on April 1, '1955. If anyone is looking in this space for memories, I'd like to hear from you. I'm active in the 1st MARDIV assn in SoCal and if you are close, we can make a meeting and share stories.
I regard our time in Korea as very interesting and have found several Korean natives here in SD and communicate with them regularly. I HOPE to go to the reunion in '10 in Seoul.
