Comments: My Dad was in the Korean war with, Dog Battery, 11th Bn. !st Marine Div. from 30 July 1950 to 11 Jan 1952.
He was at the Inchon landing to the Choson res.
I'm asking if anyone new him at that time. He passed away last year and did not talk about his service much.

Comments: My father was assigned to the 3rd Bn, 11th Marines, Service Battery 19-Aug 1950 until reassigned 27-Feb 1951. I'm trying to reconstruct his military record for his grandson, who never met him. My father passed away in 1985; son was born in 1994. Dad served on Guadalcanal with VMF-224 and retired in 1964 after 26 yrs. His service record indicates he participated in:
* Capture and Secure Seoul  21-Sept 1950 thru 7-Oct 1950
* Wonsan-Hungnam-Chosin Campaign  26-Oct 1950 thru 11-Dec 1950

If anyone can tell me where I can find pictures, books, memoirs, or a history specifically noting the 3/11th Service Battery I' d love to see them.
