Comments: i had my birthday21st friday 1951up the west caost of
korea it was our fist patrol since joining her in august
got a bit nissed as a puit so they said put me in the
hammock stowage out of the way on the sunday 16 th we
were of choda when we went between these islands and were
shelling over the top of one when these aplashes came out
of nowhere ,we realised we were being shelled so went
full astern out of there but not before we had a shell
blow a hole vin our starboard side EWM
