We were in Ohio visiting at the time and I retrieved my phone messages here in Florida while still in Ohio. There was a message from a shipmate but we couldn't understand the message so decided to wait till we got home and thought we could hear our answering machine better then. To make a long story short, I had erased the messages after listening to them from Ohio. Perhaps this shipmate will see this and contact him again. He would really love to hear from old buddies. Tells Navy stories every chance he gets. He was on the Taluga from 1951 to 1955.
