Comments: The family of Hugh K. McManus (aka "MAC") sadly announce
the passing of our Father on Feb. 11, 2005 in Santa Clara,
CA.
He was a very proud Veteran of The Korean War, and though
he never really spoke about his experiences there, he
remained close to his comrades and attended reunions
regularly.
We are very proud of our Father and we mourn his passing.
If anyone knew our Father it would be a great gift to hear from
you.
As we've seen on other posts, there are a great many
children of Korean Veterans who are trying to find a piece of
their Father on this site - to understand.
That is what we are looking for as well.
With Sincere Thanks.
The McManus Children,
Debbie, Sean, Shannon, and Shane

Comments: I have contacted you in the past - much appreciated - but not on the Internet. Outstanding! I got an e-mail from a Bob Johnson with some part of the 5thrct adn referring to a new memorial in Arlington Cemetary and offering a photo (?) but no address (that I could find). Also I have tried to get a response from the 5th RCT Assn and sent money but have gotten no response (almost a year now!). What is known about the Boys Home established in Korea for which funds are solicited? Thanks for your fine attention to my many questions!!
