Comments: My father, Joseph N Lajewski Jr. was a Corporal in the 8224th or 3224th Army Unit Augmentation, X Corps. He was in Korea from January 27, 1952 to April 7th 1953. His assigned duties were with the 5th Light Aviation and X Corps Aviation sections. He was never very open about his service in Korea or about the Bronze Star that he was awarded. I am his oldest son and am interested in what this unit that he was in did during the Korean War. Any response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your response. Greg Lane
