Comments: I am seeking any info on the 52nd Medical Battalion Ambulance Co: of which my
Father Chester A. Gouette was a member. I have an old photo of his barracks on
which he wrote the battalion number and that it was located in Pusan, Korea! I
realize that most members are more than likely passed away by now but there might
be someone still alive or that has relatives that might have known my father...he
was there in October 1950

Comments: I'm looking for anybody who served with my father Willaim G. Brown where he served in Japan 1951 (Camp Stuneman), Sasebo Korea, 1951, and Pusan, Korea 1952 to 1953. He was asssigned to the 52nd Med Bn.I have obtained his records - what left from the fire of 1973, but they are hard to read. My dad never talked about his service and it was to my surprise when I obtained his records that he was awarded two Bronze Stars, with the UN Service Medal and others. He was from Michigan. I would like to hear from anyone who knew my father. God Bless.

Comments: I have a picture of my grandfather, Richard Vernon Warner, in
front of a sign for the 52nd Medical Battalion / 421st Medical
College Co. I have seen another photo where he has a big '2' on
his shoulder. I know he served as a company clerk
at headquarters from the stories my grandmother told us. I
believe he may have known some of the guys mentioned here, but
he passed away in 2004. If anyone knew him or has any stories
about his time in the Army I would love to hear about it. Please
email me with the subject 52nd Medical Battalion or my
grandfathers name. Thank you.
P.S. There is another sign he is standing in front of in another
photo that says St. Lazarus Leaper Colony and another of him
boarding a medical train. Perhaps that information might be
helpful to someone.

Comments: I am looking for any information or stories of my grandfather, Louis "Doc" Rodriguez who was stationed in the Kapyong area of Korea as a medic. He was drafted in 09/1951 in Corona, Ca. and was assigned to L Co. 160th Inf. Regt. 40th Infantry Division before being deployed to Korea where he was assigned to the 52nd Medical Battalion. Unfortunately my family has no records of medals or awards my grandfather recieved if any while in Korea other than the ones awarded for war time operations during the conflict. Any information is appreciated. He attended his Medical Training in San Francisco, Ca. if that helps anyone. Louis "Doc" Rodriguez passed away on 01/08/10.
On that day Our Nation lost a hero and is a sadder place.
