Comments: I don't know much about my dad's service but I have a photo of him and something is being pinned on his uniform. He was, at some point, in Japan where he apparently met and fell in love with, but did not marry, a Japanese woman. He was also definitely in Washington State in 1951 where he was still in service and was 21 years old. I know nothing else and hope someone may have some information. Thank you

Comments: Hello, My father, Edmund M. Cox of Lubec, Maine, served from January 1951 to November 1953. I have just found some Kodachrome slides from his time in Korea. His return address on letters I just found was 13th Signal Co., 1st Cav Div, from July 29, 1952 to April 4, 1953.
I am looking for people who might have known him as well as anyone interested in seeing the scans of the slides. There are several of his friends and they are still bright and colorful.
Thank you, David Cox, Bangor, Maine
