Comments: Would like to hear from any members of Team C who were
in
Korea from October 1950 to November 1951. I joined the
unit in Pyongyang. The company went to Nara, Japan, in
early 1951 and then to Tomioka (sp) before returning to
Korea. I, along with two others, were the first
reservists to join the unit. The three of us were WW2
vets.
When the Chinese came in we went down to Pusan. Later,
the three of us WW2 vets went on TDY with an
engineering
company. It was while on TDY the remainder of the
company
went to Japan. We later joined he company in Japan.

Comments: Hi
I knew Binkley, only name we called him,in 1950. We
were together in the 205th. He had put together a
jeep that we had scraped up from junked or bombed
out jeeps. Only problem was getting the brakes to
work good. One day on a trip to someplace in our six
truck convoy, we rounded a corner on the narrow roads
and the trucks ahead of him had stopped. He
couldn't.End of jeep.Pushed it into the ditch.
He was a very fun guy. Wasn't he red headed?
Just took a chance looking for the 205th on
google. Was glad to run across a name I recognized.
Best wishes
Russ Peterson
