Comments: Listing this for my father, who is deceased. He served
in the Air Force in Korea at the beginning of his 20
year career. He became an Air Force Mechanic and then
Mechanic Supervisor.

I have one of this silk blue decal jackets and I was
wondering if there are any museums that take this kind
of stuff. I was also wondering if there were any people
who served with him there. I know little about his
years there except he ate dog....yuck!

Comments: I am seeking information on Wilburn Cleveland Jolley
also known as Dub, who may have been assigned to
the 6147th TCG or 6149th TCS in Korea circa 1954-55
which is a guess.
His son told me he was not a pilot, but did taxi the
aircraft, so that could put him as a ground crewman.
I have a photographs of him and another serviceman
standing and sitting on the wing of an LT-6G serial
49-3551 assigned to the 6147th TCG or 6149th TCS.
I would like to be able to place him in country,
assignment and time frame.
I was stationed on Hwaaksan Mountain near Camp Page
in 1985-86 and we visited Camp Page when we came down
off the mountain for some and and .R and R and .yes that it R and R and I
always wondered what role Camp Page had during the
Korean War and .only took me 16 years to stumble on the
answer. Korea, what a place, what a time.
Please contact me
Thanks in Advance.
Kind Regards, Gary Lewis

Comments: Truman C "Pappy" weaver was my father. He was a 22 year veteran of the USAF retiring in the mid '60's
He served as a Mosquito Pilot in Korean and I am hoping perhaps someone who flew with him or served with him while he was there would let me ask some questions of that time. I have some documentatin that he was with the 6149th.

thank you,

steven Weaver

Lost a uncle in Korea and want to know more about the details, have found
his data sheet in search. Also my Father was in the 68th flying F-82s
and also in Korea with the 6147 & 6149 and I am doing research for him.

Have already discovered trough your web sight a reunion coming up in
1998 for the Mosquito Squadron Association and he is really excited
about that! My Uncle was Robert Harper and I would kike to know how to
find out more about the details of his units action and where and how
he was killed! Well I will close, its a great web sight and thanks for
your time and consideration!

My Dads name is Melvin Carlson 6901 Avonia Road Fariview Pa. 16415, I
don't recall if I gave that to you! I have copied all my Dads slides
from the period,Japan with 68th F-82s and of course the T-6s in Korea
with the Mosquitos, when I looked at your pictures from your trip back I
was reminded of the similarity of those scenes and the pictures I have
enjoyed all these years from long ago of my Fathers! We use to beg my
Father at least twice a year to see those slides!
