Comments: Was by far the coldest place I was ever in. I've seen it at -40 degrees.At times when coming in from the flight line ice would be on my arms and would go crunch when bent my arms.
we could fly more sorties in the winter than summer because skys were more clear in the winter.

Comments: I contacted Mr Presely a little over a year ago concerning late war F84 operations. He was kind enough to respond to me with a great letter and description of operations during April - July 1953. I have been in contact with a gentleman who has a wonderful website on the F84 Thunderjet and would like to get peremission from randy to print his letter there for ohers to enjoy. I have tried the E-mail address he gave and also the web address I had for him with no luck. Anyone who has info or could help me contact him I would appreciate it.
