Comments: I am researching for my late father, Philip Just, "Red". He was in the 95th Chemical Svg Co from mid 1954 to April 20, 1955. He was stationed in Pusan at an old prisoner of war camp and was responsible for the power station. He rewired the base during his spare time. He played a mean game of Monopoly. He started at Camp Ord, then went to Camp Roberts. He was a corporal. I have many notes from his time in the service.

Comments: I researched in 2000 after he died and found that 80% of the people exposed from that passed from Cancer / as did he.

I just wish that the Children of the Atomic Veterans were treated like other deceased veterans. They pay for their education. Because of my fathers early demise, me and my mom have been struggling to survive.

Just doesn't seem fair.

Comments: After graduating from advanced ROTC from Ohio State University in 1949, I was stationed at Edgewood Arsenal in the Laboratory Team of the 95th Chemical Service Company. I attended the 4th Basic Officers Course at the Chemical School, and lived in the Gunpowder Mess Officers Club. After release from Active Duty I stayed in the Reserves for several years as CO of the 801st Chemical Technical Intelligence Detatchment. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone I might have known in either unit.

It's a great honor to be selected as the newest commander for the 95th Chemical Company and I am anxious to learn more about our unit’s proud history.
