I think it was the 351 COMRECON compamy. I was a cryptgrapher. In June 1954 I was transferred to the 352 COMRECON at Camp Matsushima in northern Honshu North of Sedai. In December 1955 in was returned to the States and discharged from a base nera Evanston Ill. I have no. contact with anyone from either my Korea or my Japan stations.
I was originally from eastern Ohio and have Lived in Virginia since 1962.
If anyone recognizes me from this, I would enjoy hearing from you.

From what I have gathered from my father and older

Unfortunately he died when my dad was 16, and no one can tell me anything about his service during the war. Being a veteran myself, I really need to know not only for myself but also to keep his memory alive. If anyone could tell me even a memory about my grandfather I would be deeply appreciative. He was a speed radio operator according to his DD214.

Comments: I joined the 352nd at Camp Pickett,Va. as it was forming in preparation for embarking for Korea December of 1950. (I was a radio intercept operator). We embarked from Oakland California on the troopship Gen. William Mitchell and arrived in Pusan, Korea sometime in January. From thereon to Taegu, Taejon and Seoul where the company set up headquarters. I went with a team to Yongdongpo and then on to I corps forward at Uijongbu. From there our team went on up into North Korea where we were attached to the 15th Inf. Regt.. I returned to the states in February
of 1952 and was assigned to the 8601st AAU at
